In 2024-2025, the Ocean State Chess Association has organized a MASSACHUSETTS SCHOLASTIC CHESS LEAGUE
after repeated requests from schools close to the Rhode Island border in Southern New England
Note: This League is separate chess league from the Ocean State Scholastic Chess League in Rhode Island
but can always lay friendly competitions with schools from nearby Rhode Island
2 Leagues: High Schools and Middle Schools, with play each other in chess match competitions. Elementary League will start in 2026
When: Registration starts October 1 – December 15, 2024
Schools Matches: occur from January 15-March 15, 2025
