LOU GIARRUSSO (May 11, 1923 – Sept. 9, 2024) a local RI WWII Veteran and chess player, passed away in 2024
We started this tournament to celebrate his 100th & 101 birthdays. We continue the tradition to honor his legacy

Biggest Upset Class Prize = $100
* Open to Out-of-State Players. Plenty of parking. Beautiful College Campus.

* OPEN & U1600 Sections: $48 Early-Bird by Friday 5/9; $55 until Thursday 5/15; $65 on 5/16 Day before & 5/17 Day of Event
* U1200 & U800 Sections: $32 Early Bird by Friday 5/9; $37 until Thursday 5/15; $45 on 5/16 Day before & 5/17 Day of Event
* GM’s & IM’s, WGM’s, WIM’s are Free, EF may be deducted from prizes.
