**Per USCF Regulations, Unrated players may enter the Amateur and Championship sections,
but are not eligible for the U1800 or U1300 Class Prizes

Additional Information Regarding Entries
* Note Day of Event Entries must be done 45 minutes prior to Round 1
* Players who enter after, at the discretion of the Chief Tournament Director, will be given a half point bye for round 1
* Pairing will be posted 30-45 Minutes before Round 1, Tournament will NOT be delayed

Additional Information
* Open to Out-of-State Players who are eligible for 1st, 2nd 3rd place trophies, however the Special (separate) 1st Place State Championship Trophy Rhode Island Champion, Rhode Island Women’s Champion, and the Rhode Island Amateur Champion must be Rhode Island residents.
* If a non-resident wins either section, they will receive the 1st place monetary prize, but the title of Champion, Amateur Champion,
and Women’s Champion would go to the RI resident who scored the highest. Out-of-State players are eligible for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies
* Players can only play up one section from their most recent supplemented USCF rating.
* Ratings less than 1000 cannot enter the Open Championship section, and ratings less than 600 cannot enter the Amateur section.
* Players can take one 1/2 bye in advance, but must be requested before round 1, After Rd 1 player receives 0 Point bye
* Chess Sets will be provided. Clocks are limited, so please bring a clock if you have one

* Plenty of parking. Beautiful College Campus. Extra skittles rooms, Lounge.
* Open & Amateur Sections will be in Main Playing Hall (see photo above)
* U1000 & U600 Sections will be in a separate area College Rooms
* Affordable food/drinks available in Cafeteria on site. Lunch breaks see schedule above.
* Cafeteria food stations w/ Lunch Specials, Salad Bar, Burgers, Pasta, Deli Sandwiches, Soup, Pizza, Ice cream
* Additional campus rooms provided for parents with laptops and skittles room available
