Format: 5 rounds Swiss System, G/60+30 Saturday, G/90+30 Sunday
Rounds: Saturday: 10am-2pm-6pm Sunday: 10am-3pm
SECTIONS & PRIZES
Master/Expert: $2,100 based on 20 entries: $1,000-500, U2400 $325, U2200 $275
Class A: $900 based on 15 entries: $500-250, U1900 $150
Class B: $900 based on 15 entries: $500-250, U1700 $150
Class C: $900 based on 15 entries: $500-250, U1500 $150
Class D: $900 based on 15 entries: $500-250, U1300 $150
Class E/Below: $800 based on 20 entries: $400-200, U1000 $120, Unrated $80
Plaques and the title of New England Class Champion will also be awarded to the top finisher in each Class (including Expert) residing in New England. (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, or RI)
Entry Fee: $120 for Master/Expert, $80 for Class A, B, C, and D, $60 for Class E/Below. EF $10 more after May 20th, $20 after June 13th and on site. $50 Play-up fee, players may only play up 1 section.
Ratings are based off of the published June 2024 USCF Rating List. Unrated players may only play in the Class E/Below section and are only eligible for the Unrated prize.
Grand Prix: This event is a 4x multiplier in the New England Grand Prix, a new circuit of local tournaments that reward players who play and finish more events. Byes: 2 half-point byes allowed, must commit before the start of Round 2.
