Date & Time: Saturday, September 7, 2024;
Round 1 at 10a, then ASAP. Online registration only thru 10:30a Sept 7.
Sections/Rounds/ 5 Sections: Open/U2000/U1300/U700/NR; 4 Rounds SS: G/30+10.
Time Control: Players rated over 299 cannot participate in NR (not rated).
Byes: One ½ point bye in all but final Round; 0 point byes any Round.
Prizes: $250-200, $100 to Top U2200 in Open; $200-150, $100 to Top U1600 in U2000;
Trophies to Top 3 in U1300, U700, NR. Champion Trophies to Open Winner and
Top City Resident overall. Medals to non-placers. Prizes via PayPal.
Entry Fee: Register online by 10:30a Sept 7; ½ pt Rd 1 bye after 9:30a Sept 7.
Open/U2000: $45 by Sept 3; $55 by Sept 5; $65 by Sept 6; $80 thereafter.
U1200/U700/NR: $35 by Sept 3; $45 by Sept 5; $55 by Sept 6; $70 thereafter.
All registration online, including same day. GMs/IMs FREE.

Hartford/East Hartford/Manchester/Other Entries: All CSCA events provide FREE and DISCOUNTED registration to
residents from towns of lesser financial means. Most Connecticut cities and many towns qualify for this CSCA program.
Additionally, residents of other towns with financial challenges can use the Hardship Discount noted above. Please do not be
discouraged by the standard entries and contact us at [email protected] to assist your participation.

Players receiving total payments of $600 or more from the CSCA in calendar year must submit a W-9 to the CSCA at
[email protected] in advance of receiving prize. [3] Refunds/Cancellation Policy: To withdraw registration or
request a refund, email your request to [email protected] no later than Sept 4 at 11:59 PM. Refund requests not
received by email or received after the above deadline, will not be honored. Refunds are subject to $15 administrative fee. [4]
