Champion Plaques: Top Connecticut Quick, Blitz, Bullet, Overall Speed, Senior, Women’s, Collegiate, High, Middle and Elementary School players [see Note 1]. Overall score tabulated by combined points with Quick games worth 2 points each. Event tie breaks will be combined for plaque awards. Cash prizes via PayPal. PayPal fees may apply. Prizes based on final placement on USCF tie breaks, NOT USCF distribution rules. Overall placement based on combined placement in all three events. Non-participating players in any event will be considered tied for last place. Cash prizes distributed via check by mail (PayPal distribution may be requested subject to PayPal fees), also see Note [4] tax requirements below.

Out-of-state: Out-of-state players (see Note [1] below) are welcome and prize eligible, except State titles.

Blitz: 5 double Rounds SS, G/3 +2. USCF Rated. Round 1 @ 1:30 PM, then ASAP
Bullet: 5 double Rounds SS, G/1 +2. USCF does not rate Bullet games. ASAP. One section. ½ point byes not permitted, but players may select to skip any event. Regular ratings used for pairings and prizes. In effort to avoid identical pairing from event to event, the Tournament Director may make reasonable adjustments to computer generated pairings in the Blitz and Bullet Championships.

Event entrants pursuant to section (b) will provide proof of eligibility. High School is Grades 9-12. Middle School is Grades 6-8. Elementary School is Grades K-5. [2] Tax Compliance.
