Format: 4SS, G/25; d5 – 4 Rounds, 25 Min. Games with 5 Second Delay
Round 1 starts around 12:00 PM. Rounds will be continuous afterward
SECTIONS (4 USCF RATED, 1 UNRATED)
* OPEN Championship Section – Highest level experienced players, $40 EF
* U1500 Championship Section – High level adults & students, $35 EF
* U1000 Championship Section – for Intermediate level students, $30 EF
* U600 Championship Section – for Novice level students, $30 EF
* UNRATED Championship Section – Novice (New) Adult & Scholastic – NO USCF Required, $30 EF
PRIZES $500 b/30 Paid Entries, Plus Trophies
* OPEN = $300 b/15 paid entries – $150 – $100 – $50, Special Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U1500 = $200 b/15 paid entries – $100 – $50 – $50, Special Trophies 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U1000 = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Medals
* U600 = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Medals
* UNRATED = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Medals
ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
* Plenty of parking available, or take MBTA Green Line to “Brookline Hills’ station
* Entry Fee: Advance Entry is $30, $35, $40
* Register online by 9/16/2023. Pre-registration check-in 11:30 – 11:50 AM.
* 1/2 pt. Byes must be requested in advance. Late entries receive 1/2 pt. bye
* Tournament will run continuous after each round.
* Starts at 12 Noon. No break for lunch. Eat lunch beforehand or bring your own.
* Sets are provided, please bring a clock if you have one
* U1000 & U600 finish about 3:00-3:30 PM. Higher Sections Finish around 5:00 PM.
