2-day schedule – Sun./Mon – G/45, d5 in Rounds 1-3. Joins 3-day group rounds 4-6
3 SECTIONS:
* Championship Section: $1,000 – $600 – $300, Top U2300 $250. (FIDE Rated) Open to players rated 1800+/above:
* U2000 Section: $700 – $400 – $250. Top U1700 $200.
* U1500 Section: $600 – $300 – $200. Top U1200 $200.
Trophies in every section to 1st 2nd 3rd Place. The New England Championship title will be awarded to the highest scoring New England residents or students in each section. Unrated prize limit $200 in U2000, $150 in U1500. The September rating supplement (or most up-to-date rating) will be used from uschess.org. Foreign player ratings: see foreignratings.com.

Early-Bird EF: $85 Early-Bird for 3-day, $85 for 2-day if mailed by Mon. Aug. 18.
Early-Bird online registration must be received by Wed. Aug. 20 @ 11:59 pm
Regular EF: $95 Online from Aug. 21 – Aug. 26 for 3-day and 2-day registrations.
Late Entry Fee (If space available) $110 online if you register on Wed. 8/27, Thurs. 8/28, & Friday 8/29.
On-Site EF: (If space available) $130 On-Site Registrations (3-Day) Sat. 8/30 or (2-Day) Sun. 8/31 the day of the event.
Must enter event during posted registration times or receive ½ point or may be paired if possible.

Additional Rules & Policies:
Must bring a chess clock if you have one – chess sets are provided at tournament hall only.
September USCF Ratings supplement will be used for ALL sections of the Tournament.
You should bring your own chess set for reviewing games afterwards at the Shields Science Center.
Phones must be powered off in bag and face down or left outside hall.
All Players must leave the hall once game is completed.
No Spectators allowed in the Tournament playing hall.
USCF Membership: Active USCF Membership is required. FIDE Membership in Championship Section Only
