The Chess Tournament will be held in this historic 1842 Military Armory located in Warren, RI

Format: 4SS, G/30;+5 – 4 Rounds. Each player gets 30 minutes each, with 5 second increment
Round 1 starts around 10:00 AM. Rounds run continuously, 30-40 Min Break for Lunch after Rd. 2

SECTIONS & PRIZES $500 Guaranteed
* OPEN Section = $250 – $100, Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, Biggest Upset (Open Section)
* U1600 Section = $100 – $50, Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, Class Prize Top U1400 Trophy (U1600)
* U1200 Section = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, Top U1000, Medals
* U800 Section = Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, Top U600, Medals

ENTRY FEES
U1200, U800 Sections: (Early-Bird) $30 until Sun. 6/14. REGULAR is $5 more ($35) Mon 6/15 – Fri. 6/19.
OPEN / U1600 Sections: (Early-Bird) $35 until Sun. 6/14. REGULAR is $5 more ($40) Mon 6/15 – Fri. 6/19.
SIBLING Discount EF: (Early-Bird) $25 Each (Save $5 each -$10) until Sun. 6/14. U1700, U1200, U800 Sections.
* LATE Entry: Sat. June 20 (day of event) +$10 More. Prices $45 & $55. Discounts do not apply. Please register early.

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
* Parking on Main Street & side streets near Warren Armory
* ADDITIONAL PARKING LOT, BEHIND WARREN TOWN HALL (REAR), 514 MAIN STREET, WARREN, RI 02885
* AIR-CONDITIONING will be provided in the Tournament Room at the Armory
* Skittles Room Provided, Coffee Shop on same street
* Lunch break provided, multiple restaurants very close in walking distance
* Round 1 will start at 10:00 AM, will run continuously, Lunch break after Round 2 (around 12:15-12:30)
* Scholastic U1200 / U800 Sections will Finish around 3:00 PM, OPEN / U1600 Sections around 3:30-4:00 PM
* Chess sets & clocks will be provided. Please bring a clock if you have one.
* Byes must be requested in advance. Late entries paired if possible or get 1/2 point bye.
* You may arrive at 11:00 for 2nd Round, but request one 1/2 point bye for Round 1 (advance entry)
* Players can always play “up” in a higher section. U800 is a Scholastic Section. U1200 Intermediate adults & Kids

* Day of Event & On-site Registration is $10-$15 extra. If possible, please register in advance online.
