Scholastic Chess Event in Rhode Island at the Beautiful New $190 Million East Providence High School

Format: 4SS, G/30; d5 – 4 Rounds: 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:45 PM
- OPEN Section (USCF RATED)
- U1000 Section (USCF RATED)
- INTERMEDIATE Section (UNRATED)
Trophies will be awarded to the top three players in each section. All players with 2.5 pts or more will receive medals
Tournament will Start at 10:00 AM, will Finish around 2:30 PM
Entry Fee: Advance Entry is $20.00. On-site Day of Event Entry Fee $25.00.

Students can always play “up” in a higher section

Byes must be requested in advance. Tournament will run continuous after each round.
Plenty of Parking. 2 Charge-Point Electric Vehicle Stations Available with 4 connectors on site
Chess sets will be provided. Please bring a chess clock if you have one.
USCF membership required to play in “Rated” sections. No USCF membership required in “Unrated” sections
