Time: Rounds at 10:30a, 1:15p, 3:30p and 5:45p; Awards by 8:15 PM
U800/NR: Round 1 at 12p, then ASAP

Online registration including “same day” available though 12 PM on November 12.

Sections: 5 Sections: Championship (CT players rated over 1900, only, see notes [1] and [2] below);
U2200; U1700; U1200; U800; NR (not rated) (NO state restriction on these sections).
Rated players with rating over 299 may not participate in NR.

Rounds/Time: 4 Rounds SS, G/55 d5. U800/NR: 4 Rounds SS, G/25 d5. All USCF Rated, except NR.
Control: One ½ pt bye permitted in Rounds 1-3; must commit by end of registration.

Trophy to section winners. State Champion Trophy to Championship Section winner.
U800: Trophy to Top 5, Top U400, U300, Unrated and 3 school teams.

Additional Prize Information:
NR: Trophy to Top 8, may be subdivided by age, if sufficient players for multiple sections.
Unless tied for first place, prizes based on final standings on USCF tie breaks, NOT USCF distribution rules.
Players tied for first share money prizes equally.
Final placement of perfect 4-0 scores subject to Armageddon tie break; does not affect money prizes.
Prize payments via PayPal within 2-10 days of event, subject to PayPal fees, if any.

Championship: $90 by Nov 8; $110 by Nov 10; $130 thereafter
U2200/U1700: $80 by Nov 8; $100 by Nov 10; $120 thereafter
U1200: $75 by Nov 8; $95 by Nov 10; $115 thereafter
U800/NR: $30 by Nov 8; $40 by Nov 10; $50 thereafter
