Who Can Play: Scholastic Rated Chess Tournament for students ages 7-17 years Old

When: Starts 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Where: Hindu Temple, 40 Astral Street, Warwick, RI 02888

Cost: $25 Registration

Rounds / Time Control: 4SS, G/25;d5

Sections
* Open Expert Level (USCF ID needed)
* UNDER 1200 (USCF ID needed)
* UNDER 600 (USCF ID needed)
* Beginner Level (No USCF ID needed)

Membership Requirement: USCF Rated Sections, players must have a US Chess Membership
Unrated Section does not require USCF Membership

Instructions
1. Round 1 will start at 9 AM.
2. Arrival time is 8.30 AM.
3. Trophies will be awarded to top 3 players in each section.
4.  Time Control: 4SS, G/25 d/5.   
5.  Registration is first come basis.
6. In Case of any Conflict during the game, final decision will be taken by the judges.
7. Sections may be combined or split at the discretion of the tournament director. This is a 4-round tournament, but a small section may have to play 3. Full-point byes may apply in sections with an odd number of players, and ½ point byes are available in any round pending early notification to the tournament director. Please bring a chess clock if you own one.
