* ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS TOURNAMENT WILL GO TOWARD HELPING SCHOOL CHESS CLUBS IN RHODE ISLAND
Format: 4SS, G/30; d5 – 4 Rounds. 30 minutes each, 5 second delay.
Round 1 starts around 10:00 AM

SECTIONS & PRIZES – Entry Fees $25-$35
* OPEN = Special Championship Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U1600 = Special Championship Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U1200 = Special Championship Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place
* U800 = Special Championship Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place
Special Trophies will be awarded for this event
Round Times & Information
* Round 1 will start at 10:00 PM and run continuous
* Lower sections finish around 2:30 pm. Higher sections around 3:00-3:30 pm.
* Players who arrive late after the start of Round 1 will receive a 1/2 pt. bye or may be paired with late arrivals.
* Byes must be requested in advance before start of tournament.
* New Policy: On-site entries must register 20 minutes before (9:40 AM) Round 1 or risk 1/2 point bye
* Please register in advance by 10/11/2024. Late or On-site entry or day of event is $5 more.

Max Malyuta (1981-2007) was a chess coach in Barrington, RI
when he passed away at age 25 from Meningitis. He was beloved by the R.I. Chess community.
