NEW – OSCA Weekly: Cranston Chess Club KIDS & TEENS Thursday’s (Cranston, RI) Grades 5-12

EVERY THURSDAY 7:00 – 8:30 PM

NEW – CRANSTON CHESS CLUB FOR KIDS & TEENS – 7:00 – 8:30 PM = Starting in MARCH 2025
* The Club is for Students Grades 5-12 , however students Grade 3 & 4 can check it out and join the fun
* Elementary & Middle School students MUST be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian
* Both USCF Rated and Unrated (Fun) Games for everyone – $5 per week to play for all students
* Format: 4SS; Time Control G/30;d5 – Each player gets 30 minutes plus 5 second delay
* (Optional) students can sign up for a U.S. Chess Federation “Youth” Membership (Age 3-19) on Premises
to play in Rated Tournaments – USCF good for 1 year. Unrated Games do not require USCF membership
* Video Arcade and Bowling Alley at the Legion Bowl as well
* 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place trophies for best (USCF Rated) scores after 4 weeks
* Medals for Top Unrated Players (No USCF Membership Required)
* Pub on Park is located next door. food/beverages available – students cannot enter Pub without a parent
